Lost and Found

Lost and found, Lost and found
Lost and found are we.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save
What was lost which is you and me,
What was lost which is you and me.
There was a wealthy man who had two grown up sons,
The younger son wanted to be free.
So he asked his father for half of his gold
Far countries he might see,
Far countries he might see.
But he wasted his money on pleasures that were wild
Till at length he was starved and in need.
He got himself a job with a man who tended pigs
But the pigs were treated better than he was.
The pigs were treated better that he.
He was living with the pigs, hungry, all alone
When he came to himself and turned around.
He’d go back to his father, he was sorry for his sin
With his father he’d be safe and sound,
With his father he’d be safe and sound.
Lost and found, Lost and found
Lost and found are we.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save
What was lost which is you and me,
What was lost which is you and me.
Now his father was so pleased his son was still alive
He gave him new best clothes and a ring.
Let’s feast and celebrate that my son who until lately
Was lost but now is found,
Was lost for dead but now is found.
Lost and found, Lost and found
Lost and found are we.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save
What was lost which is you and me,
What was lost which is you and me.
