Blessed are they whose ways are blameless,

Who walk according to the word of the LORD.

Blessed are they who keep His statutes

And seek him with all of their hearts.

They do nothing wrong,

They walk in his ways;

Your precepts you’ve laid down to be obeyed.

May I be steadfast,

Obeying your decrees,

Then I won’t be put to shame

When I consider your commands.

I'll praise you Lord my heart is upright,

As I learn about your righteous laws.

All your decrees I will obey Lord

So please Lord don’t abandon me.

How can a young man keep his life pure?

By living according to the word of the Lord.

And so with all my heart I’ll seek you.

Don’t let me stray from your commands.

I’ve hidden in my heart

Your word that I won’t sin.

Lord teach me your decrees, I will praise you.

With my lips i’ll recount

The laws that come from you,

I’ll rejoice as one made rich;

Your statutes have been my delight.

I’ll meditate on your instructions

And consider all the ways of the Lord.

I will delight in your decrees and

I will not neglect your word.

Do good to me, I am your servant,

Then I’ll live according to your word.

Open my eyes that I may see LORD

Wonderful things hidden in your law.

Estranged here on the earth,

Don’t hide your truth from me;

My soul’s consumed with longing for your law.

Rebuke the arrogant,

Who stray from your commands.

Free me from insults and contempt,

As I take heed of your commands.

Though rulers meet and plot against me,

I will meditate on your decrees.

For my delight is in your statutes,

They are like wise counsellors to me.

I am laid low and in the dust Lord.

Preserve my life according to your word.

I spoke of all I’ve done, you answered;

Teach me your decrees O Lord.

Cause me to understand,

See wonders in your word.

My weary soul needs you to strengthen me.

Keep me from wicked ways,

Be gracious through you law.

I’ve embraced the way of truth,

Set my heart upon your laws.

I will hold fast to all your statutes;

LORD do not let me be put to shame.

I’ll run the path of your commandments,

For you have set my heart free.

Teach me to follow your decrees LORD,

That I might follow them right to the end.

I’ll keep your law, give understanding,

Then I will obey with all my heart.

Direct me in your path,

For there I find delight,

Turn me from selfish gain towards your law.

Away from worthless things,

Lord keep me by your word.

All your promise you’ll fulfil,

So that your name will be feared.

Take from me the disgrace I fear Lord

For your laws they are good and true.

How I do long to know your precepts,

By your righteousness keep me.

LORD may your love unfailing save me,

Save according to your promises.

Then I will answer those who taunt me,

For I am trusting in your word.

Don’t snatch out of my mouth,

Your word, your law, my hope.

Forever I will always keep your law.

In freedom I will walk,

In seeking your commands;

I’ll announce them before kings

And I will not be ashamed.

For I delight in your commandments,

As I love them I will lift my hands.

Yes I delight in your commandments

And I meditate on your decrees.

Your promise to me LORD remember,

To your servant it has given hope;

It’s been my comfort in my suff’ring,

For your promise saves my life.

The arrogant may mock,

I’ll not turn from your law;

Your ancient laws remembered comfort me.

Great anger fills my heart

Because of wicked men;

They’ve forsaken your commands;

Yet your laws will be my song.

During the night time I remember

Your name LORD for I will keep your law.

This has for ever been my practice,

To obey your precepts Lord.
