Not to us, O LORD,

But to your name be glory,

Because of your love

And all your faithfulness.

Why do the nations say,

"Where is their God?"

Our God’s in heaven;

He does what pleases him.

But their idols are silver and gold,

Made by the hands of men.

And they have mouths, but cannot speak,

Eyes, but they cannot see. (x2)

And they have ears, but cannot hear,

Noses, but cannot smell;

They have hands, but cannot feel,

Feet, but cannot walk;

Nor can they utter a sound with their throats.

Those who make them will be like them,

And so will all who trust in them.

All who trust in them. (x2)

O Israel, trust in the LORD,

O house of Aaron too,

The LORD remembers

And he will bless you:

All you who fear him, trust in the LORD;

He is your help and shield.

He will bless those who fear the LORD,

Small and great alike. (x2)

And may the LORD grant your increase,

You and your children too.

May you be blessed by Him,

Earth and heaven he made for you.

The highest heaven belongs to the LORD,

But the earth he has given to man.

It’s not the dead who give praise the LORD,

No more the silent ones can.

But it is we who extol the LORD,

Both now and for evermore. (x2)

Praise the LORD.
