Psalm 96: To the LORD sing a new song (Melody One)

To the LORD sing a new song;
Sing to him all the earth.
To the LORD, day after day.
Sing and extol his worth.
His salvation we’ll proclaim.
His glory through the nations.
We’ll declare his marvellous deeds,
Among the realms of men.
For the LORD is great indeed,
Most worthy of our praise;
To be feared above all gods,
When men false idols raise.
For the LORD he made the heavens.
Splendid is his majesty.
Strength and glory are before him
In his sanctuary.
All you nations look to God,
You families the same,
And ascribe strength to the LORD
Give glory due his name.
Bring an offering, enter in
To his own courts and worship him;
Splendid in his holiness;
Men tremble before him.
Say among the nations round,
“The LORD he reigns above.”
He has firmly fixed the earth
Established it in love.
He will judge with equity;
The people of the earth will see;
He will judge in righteousness,
In faithfulness and truth.
Let the heavens all rejoice,
Let earth with gladness sing;
Let the sea resound with praise
With many voices ring.
Let the fields be jubilant,
And let the forest sing for joy.
Let them all sing praise to God
Our judge so right and true.
