Psalm 95: Come sing joyfully to the LORD our God

Come, sing joyfully to the LORD our God;
To the Rock of our salvation.
Shout aloud and bring thanksgiving,
Extol him with music and song.
For the LORD he is the great God,
The great King above all others.
In his hands are all the depths of earth,
And all the mountain and peaks.
The sea is his, which he made,
And also he formed the dry land.
Ocean depths, mountain peaks,
Were fashioned alone by his hand.
And so come, let us bow in worship,
Let us kneel before our Maker;
He’s our God and we’re his people,
His flock and under his care.
If today, you’d hear his voice,
“Don’t harden your hearts quarrelling,
As you did long ago,
When from rock I made fresh water spring.
Then for forty years in anger,
With all of that generation,
I said that though they’ve seen my wonders,
Their hearts have all gone astray.
Since they have not known my ways,
And put their LORD God to the test,
With an oath, I declare,
“They will not enter my rest.”
“They won’t enter my rest.”
