Psalm 92: It is good to praise you LORD

Psalm 100 album cover 2.jpg

It is good to praise you LORD,

Make music to your name;

To proclaim your love in the morning light

Your faithfulness at night again.

Make music on the ten stringed lyre,

Melody on the harp;

For you make me glad by your deeds O LORD,

I’ll sing for joy of all you’ve have done.

O LORD how great are all your works,

And how profound is all your thought,

But senseless man he does not know,

And fools they understand but naught.

And though the wicked spring up like grass

Evil doers flourish well close by,

For ever they will be destroyed,

But You will be exalted high.

O surely all your enemies LORD,

Will perish and be scattered wide,

But like the horns of a wild ox,

You’ve lifted me, my strength revived.

Fine oils have been poured on my head,

My adversaries are all gone.

My eyes have seen my foes cast down,

My ears have heard their rout; they’ve run.

The righteous flourish like the palm,

Like cedars of the Lebanon grow;

Planted in the house of the LORD our God,

They’ll flourish in his courts, and so …..

In old age they’ll still bear fruit,

As they stay fresh and green,

Proclaiming: “The upright LORD my rock,

No wickedness in him is seen. “

It is good to praise you LORD,

Make music to your name;

To proclaim your love in the morning light

Your faithfulness at night again.

Your faithfulness at night again.
