Psalm 65: Praise awaits you God in Zion

Listen on Spotify, Amazon or Apple Music
Praise awaits you God in Zion,
We’ll fulfil our vows to you.
To you LORD who hear us praying,
Men will come, all men come,
They will come and praise your name.
When transgressions overwhelmed us,
You forgave us all our sin.
We are blessed as you do draw us:
Those you sought fill your courts,
Sharing in good things you have made.
God our Saviour you have answered
And performed with righteousness,
Awesome deeds, that speak to nations;
Bringing hope, saving hope,
Over land and farthest seas.
By your power you formed the mountains;
You have armed yourself with strength.
You have stilled the roaring waters;
Seas that roar, roar no more.
You have stilled the raging waves.
And the turmoil of the nations,
You have stilled by your great strength.
Peoples far off fear your wonders;
There’ll be joy, songs of joy,
Joy from dawn to evening shade.
For the land you care and water,
You enrich abundantly.
Streams from God are filled with water,
Showers of rain, bring forth grain;
For you’ve said, ‘men will have bread’.
And you drench the farmers furrows,
Level ridges, blessing crops.
Then you crown the earth with bounty;
All that grows, overflows,
In abundance overflows.
And the desert grasslands flourish,
Hills with gladness they are filled.
In the meadows flocks are grazing;
Corn abounds, valleys sound,
With glad songs and shouts of joy.
