Save me O God by your name;

Vindicate me by your might.

Hear my prayer God;

Listen to my words,

Listen to the words of my mouth.

Strangers are attacking me;

Ruthless men they seek my life –

They’re men without regard,

Men with no regard,

Men with no regard for God.

Surely God is my help;

The Lord is the One who sustains me.

Let evil deeds recoil,

On those who slander me;

O Lord put an end to them.

I will sacrifice an offering to You;

I’ll praise your name O Lord, for it’s good.

For you’ve delivered me

From the trouble of men;

I’m looking in triumph on them.
