Psalm 41: Blessed are they who care for the weak

Jeff Lowe: lead vocal, backing vocal, guitars, keys, bass, drums

Blessed are they, who care for the weak;
For the LORD he saves them in times of trouble.
The LORD preserves them, the LORD protects them and
They’re counted with the blest of the land.
They’re not surrendered when their foes desire them.
The LORD will sustain them, when they’re on their sick bed.
He will restore them from their bed of illness.
I said to The LORD, have mercy upon me;
Heal me for I have sinned LORD against you.
Enemies say in malice against me,
“When will he die and his name perish?”
When one of them comes passing by to see me,
His speech is false also his heart is slanderous,
Then he goes out and spreads the slander abroad.
Together my foes they whisper against me,
Thinking the worst of me, then they say.
“Vile disease and illness afflicts him,
He’ll not get up from where he’s laid down.”
Even my close friend, even him I trusted;
Even the very one I shared my bread with;
He has lifted up his heel against me.
But may the LORD have mercy upon me,
He’ll raise me up that I may repay them.
And as my foes have not triumphed o’er me,
I know that you LORD, are pleased with me.
In my integrity you uphold me;
Set me forever LORD, in your presence.
Praises be to the LORD God of Israel.
From everlasting to everlasting
Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.
