Psalm 36: Your love LORD it reaches the heavens

Concerning the sins of the wicked:

There is no fear of God in his eyes;

For he flatters himself and is blinded,

To the sin which deep in his heart lies.

And the words of his mouth are deceitful;

He has ceased to do good and be wise,

And even in bed he plots evil,

Planning what sinful deeds to devise.

Your love LORD it reaches the heavens,

Your faithfulness reaches the skies;

Your righteousness towers like mountains,

Like the sea depths, your justice is high.

O LORD you preserve beasts and men’s lives;

How priceless the love that you bring:

For both high born and low born find shelter,

And refuge beneath your spread wings.

And the feasts in your house are abundant;

The drink from your river delights:

For in you life springs up like a fountain,

And in you is the light of our lives.

Continue to love those who know you;

Do good, hear the righteous man’s cries.

Don’t let proud men attack me and chase me;

Let them fall down, unable to rise!
