I’m so excited
I can’t wait to see
All those lovely presents
Around the Christmas tree.                
There’s turkey and there’s mince pies
Tinsel on the doors
Christmas crackers full of jokes
And also Santa Claus

It’s Christmas:
Get ready, get busy with shopping,
I’m dizzy it’s Christmas.
With all the fun and party plans,
I nearly quite forgot
That Jesus is the reason we have Christmas.

It started in God’s heaven                  d
The world could not begin,
Till He had set a plan in place
To save us all from sin;
And so it was that Jesus
Our Saviour and God’s son,
Was born a babe in Bethlehem
When Mary’s time had come.

It’s Christmas
For Jesus Christ was born to us at Christmas.
With all the fun and party plans,
I nearly quite forgot
That Jesus is the reason we have Christmas.

Now Mary was a young girl,
And it was in the plan,
That she would marry Joseph,
A man from David’s clan.
An angel came to Mary,
And told her she’d give birth.
Her son’s name would be Jesus,
He’d be King of all the Earth.

Now Joseph was uncertain

Of who the child would be,

But in dream the Lord appeared

To help him clearly see.

Now Joseph son of David

Do not be afraid,

For Mary's child is Jesus

And through him men will be saved.

Now Joseph lived in Nazareth.
His wedding it was planned,
When the Roman ruler Caesar
Sent his word throughout the land;
That each and every person,
Should go to his home town,
So he could count their numbers
And write all their names down.

Now Joseph came from Bethlehem,
And so it was that he,
Along with his wife Mary
Set off from Galilee.
And when they came to Bethlehem
They found no place to stay,
So when the baby Jesus came,
He in a manger lay.
